ABOUT ME
I completed my PhD on ‘Gender Budgeting and Its Implications on Social Policy: A Study of HIV/AIDS in India’ from Queen’s University, Belfast (Northern Ireland). Prior to that I studied for M Phil in Planning and Development in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay and Masters in Social Work, from Mumbai University and BA Sociology (Honours), St Xaviers College, Mumbai University.

I am an experienced academic researcher and administrator. I specialise in sustainable development goals (SDGs), Environment, Social Governance, Diversity Equality and Inclusion, Comparative social policies, gender and social policy, children and disability.
I have extensive expertise in Evidence-Based Research and Feminist approaches to Preventing Gender Based Violence and Public Health.
I have also developed and implemented intervention training for healthcare providers towards identifying and referring victims of violence and abuse. Specifically, have experience in reaching and working with hard-to-reach groups (survivors of violence and abuse, child brides, impoverished populations) using mixed methods, quantitative surveys, and participatory community/action research) and feminist approaches.
I have undertaken research projects on Digital Intimate Partner Violence, Adverse Childhood Experiences in Peru and India.
